Critical Thinking Skills in art can be a very difficult concept to teach - for all skill levels - but especially if you are new to Advanced Art and AP®Studio.

Even if you are teaching foundations in Art, you can get your students thinking on a creative level - it's easier than you think!

Most of my educators say, "How am I supposed to teach these kids to think?"

I have been teaching Advanced Art and AP®Art for the past 13 years, and after submitting 165+ portfolios, I've learned there is one constant when it comes to critical thinking skills...we need to give kids a "starting point" with Ideation.

Leaving them to their own devices with no methods or techniques for developing ideas only ends with frustration on all levels.

All we hear is, "I can't think of anything..." for the 100th time.

This live workshop will provide you with solid starting points to take your young artists to the next level of creative thinking. Once they learn these methods for idea development, the sky's the limit.
