Hi, I’m Tiffany!
I am a High School Art Educator turned Art Curriculum Designer, with over 25 years teaching experience - the last 14 spent in the high school classroom.
The struggle may seem overwhelming, but I am here with good news. You can have engaged students, confident artists, and a well-managed classroom with a set of strategies that is simple and easy to implement.
Here's My Story
I began teaching at the age of 41 and this is my 15th year in the biz. I guess you could say I'm late to the party.
Prior to teaching I held a variety of jobs while my daughter was young - Waitress, Seamstress, Custom Bikini Designer for Bikini Competitors, Stuffed Snowman Designer, Custom Framer, Secretary, Private Art Teacher, Commission Oil Painter and Hardware Store Clerk (yes, for reals.)
My love for all things creative and teaching came together in 2001. I have always had a love for seeing people realize their full potential and fortunately I also have an endlessly supportive husband (see handsome guy in photo) so when I was 34 and our daughter was 9 I went back to school to become an Art Teacher.
The blessing became a reality in 2009 and I have been a Drawing, Painting and AP® Studio Art Teacher in the beautiful state of North Carolina to hundreds of fabulous young people ever since. In 2018 I began creating educational resources for fellow Art Teachers and this part of the journey brings us to this website.
My HOPE and my GOAL is to make this site a comfortable place where people can go to get quality, thorough and easy to use resources for the art classroom, homeschool platform, or personal art skill development.
I want to help
Art Educators
I started my journey in the classroom thinking everyone would walk in and the students would be ready to work hard and treat me and everyone in the room with kindness, support and encouragement. Newsflash…No such luck. I decided to take a hard look at my curriculum and procedures. And with one simple approach, I hit pay dirt.
My live recorded workshops show you exactly how to implement this scaffolded approach to learning in your middle or high school art room.
Educators tell me time and again how these methods have saved their careers. And they can’t believe how simple the strategies are. Because it works. Without fancy frills. Just getting back to basics.
I want to help with Classroom Resources
At Mrs. T Fox's, my passion is to empower art teachers with the tools and resources they need to inspire creativity and enhance the learning experience in their classrooms. I understand the unique challenges art teachers face, from finding engaging lesson plans to managing classroom supplies. That's why I've dedicated myself to creating and curating high-quality resources that make teaching art more enjoyable and effective.
Whether you're looking for innovative project ideas, detailed lesson plans, or practical classroom management tips, Mrs. T Fox's has you covered. My goal is to support you in fostering a love for art in your students while making your teaching journey smoother and more fulfilling. Together, we can turn every classroom into a vibrant hub of creativity and learning.
I want to help Artists
I am dedicated to helping artists find a space where they can share their passion and creativity with others. That's why I created Studio43, an affordable studio designed specifically for artists to rent sessions and teach their own classes. By providing this space, I aim to build a vibrant community of artists who inspire and support each other while pursuing their artistic endeavors. At Studio43, you can not only teach your craft and make your own profits but also connect with like-minded individuals and create amazing things together. Empowering artists to share their passion is at the heart of everything we do.
